With Mt Hotham only 10 minutes away and Bright a beautiful short drive away Dinner Plain is a great starting point for all your Winter activities. The Snow Park and convenient Poma lift is a great place to learn to ski or snowboard, have some family fun with tobogganing, play in the snow or even organise sled dog tours.

When you are ready to get serious head to Hotham to enjoy runs up to two and half kilometres long, both for the experienced, advanced rider through to novices and intermediate.

A bus service operates regularly to connect Dinner Plain and Mt Hotham. So start at the Dinner Plain Hotel or end here after a fun filled day packed with activities!

Founder Jean-Francois Rupp will take you on an evening snowshoe adventure through the snow gums to reach his hidden eco-village and central tipi, where he’ll assist you to prepare your own French cheese fondue. You can then extend the experience with a cosy night’s sleep in the heated, sustainable snow-domes.

The beauty of Dinner Plain trails is that they they are at your front door, they encircle the village, you are on them you don’t ride to the trails. The trails continue out into the vast Alpine National Parks and what a place to take in the fresh air in the middle of Summer, riding the terrain trails from grassy meadows to canopies of snowgums.
